It’s difficult to find a good mechanic/automotive shop nowadays. But here’s my experience. The new owner of the shop is very knowledgeable and honest. We had a check engine light on in the car and needed to make a trip out of town for an emergency but the dealer wouldn’t look at the car until that Friday. Uninformed buyer beware. This shop will rip you off if you have no automotive knowledge. They wanted $520 for rear disks on a truck, which cost $140 in parts and MAYBE a hour in labor (it took me a hour and 10 minutes without air tools or a lift). Then the mechanic stood around for 15 minutes while I waited for my reinspection, because no one told him the vehicle was there for the appointment I made. I’m not going to this shop again.
